At Better Balance, we understand the benefits to employees and employers when people "Work Smart, Spend Smart and Do What They Love". That's why we have created Better Balance.
Our Mission: To help more people find fulfilling part-time professional
work, to use their education, experience, talents and skills while maintaining a
balance that fits their priorities in life.
- You may have aging parents and want/need to attend their doctor appointments.
- You may be nearing retirement and want to take a step back without fully stepping out.
- You might be retired and want to go back to work, use your brain and experience and mentor others.
- You might want to go back to school to advance your career.
- You may be a stay-at-home-parent who wants to re-enter the workforce and still be actively involved in your children's every day lives.
Whatever the reason, we know there are a lot of people who want to work less than 40 hours per week. We call these roles Flex Employees.
We know there is a desire and need for this kind of work and we are working to create more roles that offer the true flexibility that people are seeking. We are educating employers about this need and matching talented people looking for a Flex Employee role with the employers looking to hire them.
