Jill Jacobs, Founder & CEO
Before Better Balance, Jill worked in technology marketing for 14 years and prior to that spent 8 years helping MBAs get jobs and internships as a Career Advisor at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and as a Campus Recruiter for top-tier consulting firms in Chicago.
Most of her career has been focused on helping others - she's a 2 on the enneagram - and now she's focusing that energy to help employers offer the type of work that many people want or need.
The Better Balance concept was born after Jill found herself in the job market with a 6 month old, wishing they had spent less on their house so she could work less and do a job that she loved.
This desire fueled her mission around the creation of more Flex Employee roles so business professionals can do meaningful work AND have time for the people, hobbies and causes they love.
Jill has lived in Austin for 25 years where she values time with her family, being in or near the water, reading, traveling and gathering with friends. She believes we were all put on this earth for a purpose and to have an impact, no matter how big or small.
