Responsibilities - Analyze the financial data a bookkeeper records and provides business owners with important business insights and financial advice based on that information.

• Verifying and analyzing data
• Generating reports, performing audits, and preparing financial reporting records like tax returns, income statements and balance sheets
• Providing information for forecasts, business trends and opportunities for growth
• Helping the business owner understand the impact of financial decisions
• Adjusting entries
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP or other industry standard accounting frameworks

Main Skills

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Software

• Accounting software such as Quickbooks Online, Xero or Sage
• Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Excel and Word

Education

• Similar previous experience, at least 5 years
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification if needed

Hourly Salary range: from $35 to $55/hour
