About the position
This position is ideal for a professional with experience working for an entrepreneur or start-up who enjoys interacting with clients. A compassionate attitude, excellent time management skills, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills are important to be successful in this role. Often clients call worried or concerned about their family’s health, or their home or business. Being empathetic, patient and understanding are important in this role to help reassure our clients and allow us to ask questions and understand the big picture of what may be going on in their environment. Prior experience in non-profit, real estate, and/or environmental services is a plus.
Hours per week: 15 hours per week, every morning Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed and agreed by the candidate and the company
Hourly rate: $25-34/hour, depending on experience
Workplace: Remote with weekly in-person check-in meetings, possibility for occasional lunches with the team or errands for Office Depot for supplies.
High speed internet and reliable power are necessary. All office equipment will be provided.
Employment Status: W2 employee with potential for benefits and profit sharing. Our client has currently paid time off, paid sick leave, and paid holidays, along with two paid volunteer days per year – at the charity or non-profit of the employee’s choice. They are currently electing new insurance benefits, although they are not in effect yet. They are planning to offer 401K benefits as well as memberships for a few local services in the Austin area.
They have a bi-annual review and mutual evaluation of roles, responsibilities, and salary package.
